Musician and author Gene-O has written a new book called Five Steps Black. Gene-o says he wrote Five Steps Black he wanted to fuse different stlyes of music since not everybody strictly listens to R&B. I talked with Gene-o about being a African-American artist, his single Time for change, and working with fellow artist Kevin Flournoy.
